The variety of soft winter wheat was created by the method of intraspecific hybridization: Myrleben / ChRM Lutescens 301// Pearl of the forest-steppe. The study of varietal agrotechnics showed that the variety belongs to the group of intensive varieties and is recommended for cultivation according to the best predecessors and requires high agrophones. Distinctive features of the variety and approbation signs Lutescens variety. The ear is thornless, cylindrical, medium density, white. At the top of the ear, flower scales have teeth 1-2 cm long. On the ear, flag leaf, straw - a strong wax coating. The height of the plants is average. The shoulder of the spikelet scale is of medium width, raised, the tooth is very short, slightly bent. The grain is red and large, the weight of 1000 seeds is up to 52 g.
Biological and economic indicators:
- The medium-early variety, is tedded 2-3 days earlier than the medium-ripening variety of forest-steppe pearl.
- Winter resistance is high - 8.6-8.8 points.
- The variety can be classified as low-growing - the height is 5-10 cm lower than the standard variety
- Pearl of the forest-steppe, has high resistance to lodging - 8.8-9.0 points, and also has increased drought resistance - 8.5-9.0 points.
The variety is quite tolerant to the main diseases:
- resistance to powdery mildew is 8.3-8.4 points,
- to brown rust - 8.5-9.0 points,
- root rot - 8.8-9.0 points,
- fusarium ear – 8.7-9.0 points.
The bread-making qualities of the variety are good and excellent. Belongs to valuable wheat. In the variety test at Bilotserkivska DSS in 2015, with a yield of 9.0 t/ha, grain of the Zorepad variety b.c. it contained 29.8% gluten with an IDC of 90 units. and dough elasticity 4.0 points (on a 5-point scale). In 2014, with a yield of 5.84 t/ha, grain contained 36.2% gluten, with 88 units. IDK and elasticity 5 points. Yield potential: 90-100 c/ha.
