  • Threading heads and inserts for internal and external profiles are specialized metalworking tools for precise shaping of profile holes and surfaces without the use of complex additional operations.


    Threading heads for rotary threading are used on machines that provide tool rotation and axial feed. The technology allows you to form internal square, internal hexagon, TORX, TORX PLUS, spline and special profiles. When using the appropriate external threading and adapter, the system can also be used to obtain external profile sections on cylindrical parts.


    Threading heads are used for rotary threading of profile shapes on lathes, milling, machining centers and other machines that provide tool rotation and axial feed. The system allows you to obtain internal square, hexagonal, TORX, TORX PLUS, spline and special profiles. When using the appropriate external threading and adapter, it is possible to form external profile sections on cylindrical parts.


    The standard threading heads of the BR series cover the BR-G5–BR-G25 versions. Adjustable heads are provided for tasks with different working lengths, and the BRC system provides internal coolant and compressed air supply to the cutting area.

     

    Threading options

    Polygonal threads - for internal square, hexagonal, slotted and other profile holes; series G5, G8, G8A, G12, G12A, G16, G16M, G16L and G25.

    TORX threads - for internal six-ray profiles; series GT8, GT12 and GT16, size range according to the materials provided T5–T60.

    TORX PLUS inserts — GT8-IP, GT12-IP and GT16-IP series, IP6–IP60 range.

    Inserts and adapters for external shapes — for external hexagon, square, TORX, TORX PLUS, spline, toothed and special profiles.

    Tool materials — HSS and SINTERED; special profiles and coatings for a specific task are possible.

    Selection
