The complete transformer substation of the column type KTPS with a capacity of 25-250 kVA is a single-transformer substation of the dead-end type of external installation and is used to receive electric energy of three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 6 or 10 kV, to convert it into electricity with a voltage of 0.4 kV and to supply it with energy to small agricultural , urban, rural, industrial and other facilities in regions with a moderate climate.

KTPS are assembled on a reinforced concrete rack type SV-105 (СV-110) in a pole transformer substation. The transformer bracket is the most heavily loaded part of the entire substation, therefore it is made with a large margin of strength from shaped rolled steel: channel No. 8, corner 63.

Two-post KTP are mounted on SV105 (СV110) racks. To facilitate installation, the delivery set may include a mounting crossbar with a hook. The beam of the transformer is made of channel No. 10. The feeders of the outgoing lines, as well as the introduction into the RUNN cabinet, are designed to be laid separately in gas pipes with a diameter of 1 inch (the pipes are included in the delivery set on a separate order).

Substations are certified for the use of transformers with a capacity of up to 250 kVA inclusive. There is a bracket for installing 6-10 kV arresters of the RVO type or overvoltage limiters of the OPN type (equipped with KTPS at the request of the customer) at the HV input. The KTPS is completed with detailed installation instructions and operating instructions and is delivered packed on a special pallet of prefab-welded construction. All elements are securely fixed and protected from damage during transportation in compliance with existing transportation rules. A pallet of packed KTPS can be transported in a 5-ton container by rail transport or in an open form by road transport.

The construction of the pallet, on which the KTPS is delivered, is designed for a length of 1.7 m of slings, with a load capacity of at least 1.5 tons.

Normal operation of the KTPS is ensured under the following conditions:

- installation height above sea level no more than 1000 m;

- the temperature of the surrounding air, corresponding to the performance of the UHL of placement category I - from minus 60 to plus 40 ° C; In the accommodation category I - from minus 40 to plus 40 ° C according to GOST 15150-69 and GOST 15543. I-89;

- the environment - an industrial atmosphere of type P according to GOST 15150-69, which is not explosive, does not contain chemically active gases and steam in concentrations that reduce the parameters of KTPS within unacceptable limits;

- wind speed up to 36 m/s (speed wind pressure up to 800 Pa) in the absence of ice;

- wind speed up to 15 m/s (speed wind pressure up to 146 Pa) in case of icing with an ice thickness of up to 20 mm.

KTPS are not intended for:

- work in conditions of shaking, vibration and impacts;

- introduction of power from the low voltage side;

- installations in explosive and fire-hazardous zones according to PUE and special environments according to GOST 24682-81.

KTPS meets fire safety requirements according to GOST 12.1.004-91.
