Complete pass-through transformer substations - KTP-2 with a capacity of 25-630 kVA, a HV voltage of 6 or 10 kV, a LV voltage of 0.4 kV are designed for receiving, converting and distributing electrical energy of three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz in systems with a blindly grounded neutral of the transformer on side of the lower voltage. KTP-2 are intended for electricity supply to agricultural consumers, individual settlements and small industrial facilities in regions with a moderate climate (from -45ºС to + 40ºС). KTP-2 is installed on the simplest concrete platform of at least 400 mm.

KTP-2 is used for power supply of industrial, agricultural, communal facilities in distribution network schemes.

The normative conditions of work of KTP-2 are:

  - height above sea level - not more than 1000m;

  - the lower value of the working air temperature - minus 45 ° C;

  - the upper value of the working air temperature is plus 40 ° C.

The environment is explosive, which does not contain conductive dust, aggressive dust and steam in concentrations that destroy metals and insulation.

The KTP-2 transformer substation has the following components:

- metal frame (kiosk). The KTP-2 frame is load-bearing and withstands severe mechanical actions up to performance group M1 according to GOST 17516.1;

- a device from the side of high voltage UVN;

- at the HV input, there is an opportunity to install 6-10 kV arresters of the RVO or OPN type (completed by order);

- the power transformer (oil, dry) corresponds to GOST 11677, GOST 14209, GOST 16555, DSTU 2105, as well as technical specifications for specific types of transformers;

- distribution device from the low voltage side of RUNN (automatic switches of domestic or foreign production, at the request of the customer).
