What is tank calibration and why is it needed

Tank calibration is the process of determining the exact ratio between the fuel level in the tank and its volume, that is, creating an individual calibration table. It allows for correct accounting of petroleum products and avoids errors in the acceptance, storage or dispensing of fuel.

Volumetric method of fuel tank calibration
