Z28-200 is an industrial hydraulic machine for cold rolling of external threads and forming various profiles on cylindrical workpieces. Processing is performed by the method of plastic deformation of the metal surface by rotating rolling rollers without removing chips.

The diameter of the initial workpiece for rolling is selected depending on the nominal diameter, pitch and thread profile. The workpiece for rolling has a smaller diameter than the outer diameter of the finished thread.

Design and operating principle

The profile is formed by two thread rolling rollers. The hydraulic system creates the necessary working force, and the design of the machine allows you to adjust the position of the working elements in accordance with the size of the workpiece.

A coolant supply system is provided to cool the working area and rolling rollers. The spindle rotation speed is selected depending on the workpiece material, its diameter, thread profile and the required processing mode.
