Drive drums are used to transmit rotary motion from a pair of electric motor and reducer to the conveyor belt, turning the circular rotation of the drum into a rectilinear axial movement of the belt. Movement forces are transmitted to the conveyor belt by the method of coupling, which is improved by increasing the diameter of the drum and rubberizing its surface with a chevron cut. The higher the area of contact between the belt and the drum, the more effort can be transferred to the belt web.

Our company manufactures drums with a diameter of: 168, 194, 219, 273, 325, 426, 530, 630 mm.

The bearing housings of the French company SNR are used in the production.
